Foam Rolling Technique & Corrective Stretching for Pain Relief, Injury Prevention & Improved Mobility

This all-levels foundations class is both educational and hands-on, designed to teach you how foam rolling and corrective stretching can relieve pain, improve mobility, and help prevent injury. You’ll learn the basics of fascia, anatomical positioning, foam rolling, and self-myofascial release while practicing effective techniques to release tension.

Power Yoga

Yoga Classes at Skin and Wellness Centre

Restorative Yoga:

This Restorative Yoga Therapy class blends supported postures, breath work, and guided relaxation to help the body shift from “fight-or-flight” into “rest-and-repair.” Using props, bolsters, blankets, straps, and blocks, we create comfortable shapes held for 3–8 minutes, allowing connective tissue to soften and the nervous system to rebalance.
With slow transitions, minimal muscular effort, and hands-on or verbal adjustments tailored to your needs. This class supports stress relief, chronic pain management, post-workout recovery, and better sleep.
It’s appropriate for all levels, including beginners, prenatal/postnatal students, and those returning from injury (with medical clearance).
You’ll leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and deeply restored.

Yoga Mat Pilates:

Flow, strengthen, and tone in this energizing fusion of yoga and Pilates. This class
combines the mindful breath and flexibility of yoga with the core-sculpting, posture-
enhancing precision of Pilates. Expect mat-based sequences designed to improve
balance, mobility, and total-body strength, while also promoting relaxation and focus.
Perfect for all levels — whether you’re looking to lengthen and lean or deepen your
connection between body and breath.
